Pediatrix 2007 First Quarter Conference Call/Webcast Scheduled for May 10, 2007

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 3, 2007--Pediatrix Medical Group, Inc. (NYSE:PDX), the nation's leading provider of neonatal, maternal-fetal and pediatric subspecialty physician services, will host an investor conference call and Webcast on Thursday, May 10, 2007, at 10 a.m. Eastern Time, to provide selected financial information for the three months ended March 31, 2007. Pediatrix expects to issue a press release prior to the opening of the securities markets May 10, 2007, that will cover this financial information.

The Audit Committee of Pediatrix's Board of Directors, the Company and its independent public accountants are working to complete the previously announced review of the Company's practices relating to its historical stock option grants. There can be no assurance that this review will be completed in time to meet the deadline, or any extension of the deadline, to file the Company's Quarterly Report on Form 10-Q.
