Pediatrix Acquires Neonatal Physician Groups Based in Florence, SC, Fort Worth, TX
Pediatrix also announced that it acquired a neonatal physician group practice based in Fort Worth, Texas.
The four-physician group in Florence staffs two hospital-based neonatal intensive care units (NICUs) that have combined annual volume of approximately 11,000 NICU patient days.
The Fort Worth neonatal physician group staffs two NICUs with combined annual volume in excess of 2,800 patient days.
Pediatrix has completed six physician group practice acquisitions during 2002, adding groups in Memphis, TN, Columbia, SC, Charlotte, NC, and Lexington, KY, as well as the groups in Florence and Fort Worth.
